Tom Rigney & Flambeau, San Francisco, USA

Tom Rigney Website
Flambeau specializes in fiery Cajun and Zydeco two-steps, low-down blues, funky New Orleans grooves, and heartbreakingly beautiful ballads and waltzes.
Most of the repertoire is composed by Rigney, but they also mix in a few classics from the Cajun/Zydeco/New Orleans songbook. And if, along the way, you pick up a trace of Rigney's Irish roots or a little Swing and roots Rock and Roll, it just makes the musical gumbo that much tastier.

With their varied backgrounds and experience, they bring a level of entertainment to the stage unseen in most bands. Gonzalo Bergera Quartet

Gonzalo Bergera Quartet
The all-acoustic Gonzalo Bergara Quartet plays a modern variant of 1930s Django Reinhardt-inspired gypsy jazz. Composer and lead guitarist Gonzalo Bergara mixes a cascade of arpeggios with the sounds of Paris and his native Argentina. The music is heavily influenced by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, as well as the traditional jazz and music of Bergara's true home, Buenos Aires. "Gonzalo Bergara’s music exists in a way that very little music does. He has lavished such care on every phrase, built each arrangement with such lapidary precision and pared away anything extraneous, the music becomes sculpture. It has weight, density, gravity. This is serious….and deeply moving.
